Frequently Asked Questions

  • HOW DOES BOARDING WORK IN HILLSDALE?

Hillsdale Puppy Paradise gives those pups that don't do well in a social setting, the chance to relax and enjoy their stay away from home! Unless from the same home or stated otherwise, all dogs are boarded in their own suites with comfy beds and blankets. Your dog will spend their day napping, going on sniff-walks in our fully fenced in, secured yard and doing enrichment activities. For more info, please feel free to call us at 517.825.0321

  • DO YOU ACCEPT ALL DOGS FOR BOARDING?

We do not have any breed restrictions at either location. Hillsdale Puppy Paradise will not accept any human aggressive dogs for boarding.

  • WHAT VACCINES DOES MY DOG NEED?

Any dog attending both Jonesville and Hillsdale Puppy Paradise needs the Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella vaccinations. Canine Influenza is recommended but not reuqired. Both locations are parasite free. All dogs must be on flea/tick prevention.

  • MY DOG IS NOT SPAYED/ NEUTERED, CAN THEY STILL COME?

Jonesville Puppy Paradise: We require all dogs over the age of 9-months to be spayed/neutered in order to attend JPP for daycare or boarding. Hillsdale Puppy Paradise: Dogs do not have to be spayed or neutered. We do not accept females in heat. If your pet goes into heat during their stay, your emergency contact will be contacted to pick up.

  • WHAT DO I BRING FOR BOARDING?

Puppy Paradise requires owners to bring your dog’s food from home. Rapidly changing your pet’s diet and environment by boarding can cause stress and upset stomachs. If your pet requires medication, please bring medication in original prescription bottles and we will administer for FREE as directed. Your pet’s favorite blanket/bed and toy are welcome, but please write their name on the items if possible.

  • CAN YOU FEED MY DOG LUNCH WHILE BOARDING?

Yes! We try to keep each pup on the same feeding routine here, that they are on at home! Please let us know at check-in if your pup receives lunch!
