FAQ - Jonesvile

  • HOW DOES DOG DAYCARE WORK?

Your dog gets the day to play in a safe and fun environment with other dogs while your away for the day. Just like you have fun with your friends, dogs love to hang out and play with dog friends. Our staff monitors and interacts with the dogs in three clean, open and spacious indoor play areas. We offer two fenced, outdoor turf play areas for your pups to enjoy.

  • DO YOU ACCEPT ALL DOGS FOR DAYCARE?

We love all dogs, but we do require a 1-Hour Behavorial evaluation for each dog before they come and play or stay with us at Jonesville Puppy Paradise. This gives us a chance to see if your dog will be happy and comfortable while in our care. Evaluations require an appointment and give us the chance to find out more about your pup and check for behaviors that indicate whether your dog will be a good fit for doggy daycare/boarding. - Hillsdale Puppy Paradise does not require an evaluation to board. HPP does not accept human aggressive dogs!

  • WHAT VACCINES DOES MY DOG NEED?

For both locations, all dogs must be UTD on Rabies, DHLPP and Bordetella. Canine Influenza is recommended. Proof of vaccines must be given at the time of booking. Dogs must be flea/tick free.

  • MY DOG IS NOT SPAYED/ NEUTERED, CAN THEY STILL COME?

Jonesville Puppy Paradise: We require all dogs over the age of 9-months to be spayed/neutered in order to attend daycare or board. Hillsdale Puppy Paradise: We do not require dogs be spayed or neutered in order to board but will not accept any females in heat. If your pups goes into heat during their stay, you will be contacted to arrange pick up!

  • MY DOG DOESNT DO WELL WITH OTHER DOGS, CAN THEY STILL COME FOR GROOMING?

Yes! Our grooming salon is completely separate from our boarding and daycare, grooming dogs will not interact with any other dogs unless it is from the same family.

  • MY DOG DOESN'T DO WELL WITH OTHER DOGS. CAN THEY STILL BOARD?

If your pup doesn't do well in social settings with other dogs, then we would recommend you coming to our second location in Hillsdale. Hillsdale Puppy Paradise is strictly a boarding and grooming facility. Boarding dogs get individualized playtime with our staff, daily sniff walks and enrichment activities.

  • CAN YOU FEED MY DOG LUNCH WHILE IN DAYCARE?

Yes! All dogs get a rest period between 11am-1pm which gives them plenty of time to eat lunch, and rest which will allow their stomachs to settle before playtime to help prevent any health issues.

  • WHAT DO I BRING FOR BOARDING?

Puppy Paradise requires owners to bring your dog’s food from home. Rapidly changing your pet’s diet and environment by boarding can cause stress and upset stomachs. If your pet requires medication, please bring medication in original prescription bottles and we will administer for FREE as directed. Your pet’s favorite blanket/bed and toy are welcome, but please write their name on the items if possible.

  • WHAT DO I BRING WITH MY DOG TO DAYCARE?

We require all dogs to wear a collar while in daycare. Please bring your pup in on a leash (no retractable leashes please), and lunch if they eat it!
